Kurt Stoll of WPI sent me today’s Fixed-it Friday photo, which has been waiting in my giant pile of future posts for a good long while. Can you spot the problem?

Something going on with the glazing?? Changed out?
The small doorstop on the wall was rendered obsolete by a much larger doorstop that also functions as someone’s cubicle.
That is for the person’s head, when they fall asleep, at their desk!!!
The wall stop install placement.
Oops!
Unfortunately, the cubicle partition doesn’t qualify as a door stop! It impedes the 180 degree swing to the wall mounted stop.
I hope that they installed a new wall-mounted door stop when they built the low wall.
You gotta push that door REALLY hard to impact the door stop.
Location of wall stop.
The Wall Stop should be changed to a Hook or Hanger
My guess is a repurposed space, or the tenant came in after the shell was completed. It’s cheaper to leave the old wall stop in place than to patch and refinish the wall. I sure hope there’s a new one in place on the half wall.
anyone else immediately hear the Slim Shady song in their heads while reading the headline? LOL. And that cubicle location is multipurpose!
