Last week I shared some photos of the beautiful brass/bronze doors of Chicago, and during one of my walks I noticed a Fixed-it Friday repair that made me cringe.  It was on an amazingly gorgeous entrance to what is now a Target store…it looks like someone maybe added a continuous hinge at some point?  I know that sometimes you have to make do, but these “repairs” bring a little tear to my eye!
