I walked into my hotel room the other night and was surprised to see swing-clear hinges on the bathroom door.  My room is in part of the hotel with a half-round facade, so the interior walls are not square (think spokes of a wheel).  A portion of the bathroom wall was adjusted to allow the door to open to 90 degrees and sit parallel with the wall, but alas, the stop that was installed prevents the door from opening those last few degrees.

I didn’t have a tape measure handy but based on the Measure app on my phone it looks like the hinges did their job – moving the door out of the opening and squeaking out the required clear opening width of 32 inches.
