Is the first photo an example of a hardware template?
How many holes are permitted in a frame – particularly a fire door frame?

No open holes are permitted in a fire rated door or frame…fastener holes that are no longer used can be filled with steel fasteners or a product that is listed for filling holes in fire doors.

Besides that beautiful drywall “box” for the closer, who’s not protecting and hiding that glassbreak wire? Where’s it even pointed (curious what’s on the other wall)…..
