Today’s Fixed-it Friday photo came from Lloyd Raforth of Allegion, who found this parallel arm closer with a “twist” mounted on a restaurant exit. Whatever it takes to get the job done!

So what is the answer to what is going on here??
I think I see it, but not sure.
Thank you
Hi Charles –
The part mounted vertically with the 5 holes in it is the parallel arm bracket for the closer – it is supposed to be mounted horizontally. The installer used two brackets – one mounted vertically and then the second one was attached to the first one.
