I do see a nervous young man that wants to learn how to ski. Jess November 9, 2011 at 12:04 pm - Reply Lori: i cant stop looking at it either, from it being the old body style, no green dial, it appears to been the version of LCN 4040 made between 1998-’99 and 2008 (i think) how i can figure it out, by looking at the style of end plug (not shown in the photo). i love seeing naked ones in backrounds of photos and in movies (especially scenes that are in a school) there’s a picture in my high school yearbook showing a naked 4040, the dark grey ones from early 1990’s. it is of a teacher leaning on the doorknob with door open waiting for her students to arrive. great shot, -Jess the door closer (detective) doctor Steven November 9, 2011 at 1:02 pm - Reply Wow, that is a pretty nice closer. It’s sleek and slim, It doesn’t look to be too old or worn. And seems to be uniquely suited for what the young man needs. And the blonde color, I mean, Aluminum color is very attractive as well. If it ever broke a seal I wouldn’t mind servicing it. Joseph Vaida November 9, 2011 at 2:52 pm - Reply My goodness Lori! When did you start posting such filth? Someone put a cover on that naked closer… sheesh 🙂 Lori November 9, 2011 at 3:26 pm - Reply I’ve got to keep the readers coming back somehow! 🙂 Casey Camper November 10, 2011 at 11:40 pm - Reply Naked? What does a 4040 with a cover look like? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in the field! 😉 Lori November 10, 2011 at 11:47 pm - Reply I specify metal covers because they come with holes for the screws instead of slots that allow the cover to be pulled off without removing the screws. The screws never seem to be tightened down on the slots. It’s a question of convenience with the possibility of closer nudity vs. less convenience and modesty, happy closers. Jess November 11, 2011 at 9:33 pm - Reply joseph vaida: i thikn when discussing naked closers is only place a person can say “naked” and “uncovered” without getting in trouble, i know that if you hate closer nudism, im sure you woudl hate to have been to the middle school and high schools i been to, once counted them, i think only 3 or 4 LCN’s in the high school retained their covers, same number for the middle school, that is if i didnt count the exterior 4110 series closers. at least the nudity is not of the human type, if that was the case, my middle and high school would be in deep trouble with CPS or the police. (I guess they didnt like to show much “skin” (or shall we say cast iron) Lori, i think its the key words that search engines look for is the reason the naked closer posts get the most traffic. all has to do with wording………… and well…….men when they look for nudity of the human type, (im sure you remember that one serach result (naked women with no cover ups) just to land on the post you made “COVER UP!” maybe this one will want their cover back on once that temperature drops (shivering and freezing cold without the “closer clothes”) Steven, LOL that was a good post you made about the naked 4040, you even gendered this one as a female too, first time i seen anyone on idighardware FLIRT AT A (naked) CLOSER. you may be in competition with this one, if this one pops a seal, someone, get a quarter, weregonna have to flip a coin to see who will go after this one. (haha i got heads) related story: i used to have a woodshop teacher (now long time retired and out of teaching woodshop classees) he used to gender the door closers that were in the middle school, right handed were females, lefties were males. i guess i was always having boys in my classes (not of the human type!) as ever since i was in pre-kindergarten, they placed me in classrooms with a left hand opening door. -Jess the door closer doctor Leave A Comment Cancel replyComment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
