I have been planning a family trip to Tanzania for a couple of years, and the departure date finally arrived a few weeks ago. In addition to the safari (amazing!), we visited the island of Zanzibar, where I took today’s Wordless Wednesday photos. Although the photos are not door-related, the structural support that has been installed during the renovation of the People’s Palace left me wordless…
There’s more info about the project here.
Only one of my children seems to be giving the situation much thought:
The House of Wonders, located nearby, is also undergoing a renovation and is currently covered by an impressive amount of corrugated metal.
Although we didn’t see many actual doors on safari – unless you count tent flaps – I have plenty of photos to share of the beautiful doors of Stone Town. Stay tuned!
