I’ve shared Fixed-it Friday photos in the past showing the creative methods used to avoid touching a door pull, lever handle, or panic hardware touchpad that has been heated by the sun (here’s one at Kungfu Noodle and another at the Hoover Dam).  But TBH I didn’t know that Trimco offers a finish that can reduce the surface temperature of a door pull or push plate.  It’s called the Cool Touch Finish, and to order it you just specify “-PVC as a suffix to the product number.  I love these problem-solvers!
