Just last week I mentioned the difficulties associated with custom work…I saw these doors in Mexico City and I’m wordless over the lack of coordination between these amazing vintage locks and the trim on the doors – not to mention the location of the pink door vs. the roof above.
These look like old Schlage locks to me (from before my time)…can anyone confirm?

Are they working hardware or just decoration or push/ pull?
Hi Charles –
I don’t know if they work now, but they were designed to work back in the Olden Days.

Really igniting my OCD 🙂
It made me actually cringe!

Decades ago, Schlage A-series locks were available with 18″ backset. That is probably what these are/were. Schlage also made many very intricate design levers and escutcheons.
In Kissimmee, Florida, where I grew up, there was one upscale neighborhood (well at least upscale at the time, probably not now), that all of the front doors had these locks.
I love them! I have an old sample!

Looks like they are working with an extended latch and links.
Maybe it is just me, but I had to study an enlarged view even to determine what I was looking at! At first I thought they were mis-mounted peep holes. I would probably be someone standing next to the door wondering how to open it. Merry Christmas.
D’oh!
Not only are the locks not aligned with the trim, but that pink door isn’t aligned with the “awning” (or whatever it’s called) above it. It truly hurts to see this. Like fingernails on a chalkboard.
