Doors of Havana CubaIt might seem like I’m always going on exotic vacations, but last week when I went to Havana, Cuba, for a friend’s wedding was the first time I have gone on a trip without my computer since 2009.  That’s 14 YEARS!  Often when I am traveling it is business travel or I am working remotely, so being completely disconnected was an unfamiliar but liberating feeling.

The reason I haven’t been away from my computer since 2009 is because that’s the year I started iDigHardware.com.  Which means that my 4th baby turns 14 this week!  If you have been around long enough to remember Chip Falcon’s Road Trip, that was the first family vacation I shared with the readers of iDigHardware.  Since then, I have traveled to more cities and countries than I can count, and I almost always find some interesting doors to share.
