This is one of my favorite weeks of the year, but maybe for a different reason than you might expect.  A few times a year there is a time that most of the US seems to be on vacation, the emails slow down, and I can use the time to catch up a little.  I hope you are all enjoying some down-time over the next couple of weeks!

Because it’s a quiet week, there is an abbreviated list of classes available on Webinar Wednesday.  Feel free to share the information on these sessions with your colleagues.

July 1st – Webinar Wednesday Live Classes (all times EST) – Click HERE to register for any of the webinars below.

10-11am: Essentials of Access Control

In this session, we will explore the essential components of access control. We will discuss products common in access control, including their features and benefits and the solutions they provide for a building’s occupants and owners.

John Dalrymple, our Allegion Electronics Training Manager, will lead this exploration.

2-3pm: Lock Functions

Are you new to locks for non-residential buildings? This webinar will provide you a solid foundation, from describing lock functions in terms of how the lock behaves to explaining the difference between function name, ANSI number, and Schlage model number. You’ll get the opportunity to practice selecting the best lock function for a particular scenario.

Gordon Malczewski, Schlage Training Manager, will be your guide.

You can see the upcoming webinars on the Allegion Virtual Event Calendar.

I received a report of not-great video quality on the recording of my last webinar, so I will work on resolving that.  My next webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21st, and you can find more information on the webinars page of iDigHardware.
