Brian Adrian of DH Pace sent me this Fixed-it Friday photo a loooong time ago. I was saving it for a rainy day (along with the others he sent), and the email was automatically archived until I found it again the other day.
I guess this application would work if there wasn’t a real need for security, but if someone is able to press the touchpad from outside the gate, they will be able to enter the secure area after waiting 15 seconds. It’s a lot of money to spend for security that can be so easily defeated. I’ll give them credit for installing the signage though!
P.S. Did anyone notice that I added buttons at the top of the right sidebar in case you want to see more WW or FF photos??

I saw the new buttons and think they are FANTASTIC!!
Thanks Deputy Tock!

Well, look at that!!!
How long have those suckers been there?
Obviously I missed them.
With all of the other colors over there, they just blended in.
I just added them on a whim the other night. I have a lot of whims. 🙂

I have a coat hanger I can get in a lot of places
Through the years did many exit device applications on gates, though never a delay egress device. We would attach 3/8″ or 1/2″ plexiglass extending above, below and both sides if necessary to prevent a hook or other tool from depressing the touch bar.
yes, we have a gate and thats what we done
another demonstration of the tremendous utility of zip ties….
