Answers to your door, hardware, and code questions from Allegion's Lori Greene.

I didn’t know whether this should be a Wordless Wednesday photo or a Fixed-it Friday photo, but it’s Friday so here goes (I AM Wordless though)…
Photo by Mark Rokjer of DS Specialties, submitted by Kyle Learch of Allegion.
That is a screwed up application.
Does it still work?
I’m not sure!
That is putting the screws to it.
Looks like the “Bride of Frankenstein” of door hardware!!!!!!
Why would anyone go to so much trouble with this work-around when it would’ve been so much easier to do it the right way?
Not a good application for a pull door
at least they matched the finish
Someone got paid by the hour to do that. 🙁
They could have at least filled the two screw holes with screws.
On a separate note: Why the change from math problems to “Captcha Codes”? Was the math too difficult for some? 🙂
Apparently sometimes people would put in the right answer to the math question and it still wouldn’t publish the comment, so I switched.
Well ….. the screws are matching.
Is that a Levi’s latch (or a government project!) ?
That guy, doesn’t screw around
Serious overkill by a non-hardware person.
Someone got a new Dewalt screw gun for Christmas!!
Definitely a “Wordless Wednesday” example!
