Today’s Fixed-it Friday photo, sent in by Pat Little of Penner Doors & Hardware, is a classic! It was taken in the lunchroom at a construction site in Saskatchewan, Canada…this “fix” will keep out the bears, right??

Inspector,
Yes,
I told you the shovel was there in case you saw snow up to the window.
You have to get out!!! Don’t you?
While the snow shovel barricade device is tons of fun, I find that the “emergency alarm” snuggled safely in it’s blister pack the best part of this train wreck. I also wonder if it’s location violates ADA mounting height regulations. Oh wait, the first ‘A’ does stand for American doesn’t it.EH?
Are you sure this isn’t Wordless Wednesday? 😉
At least there’s a conveniently located “Emergency Alarm” (thumb-tacked to the wall) if all else fails!
It could have definitely been a Wordless Wednesday, but I received the photo on Thursday, so…
😀

The emergency alarm is too good.
no spare hockey sticks, eh?
It’s a waste of a good used hockey stick.. A brand new shovel is definitely better!
The emergency alarm is awesome.
Whew, I thought for sure there wouldn’t be an auto closer on the door. Wouldn’t want it staying open now would we?
