Who knew “Wordless Wednesday” translated so perfectly into Spanish? I think “mudo” is more like mute than speechless, but I’m going with it! I’ve become somewhat numb to Mexican egress, but some of the accessibility modifications are extreme enough to catch my eye. I also saw a good door at La Bodega for Viernes Reparé (check back on Friday!) 😀
And I’m not a structural engineer, but this looks a little sketchy to me…
Did you find any interesting doors during your summer travels? I’d love to see them!

The kids always want to run down but what the photo doesn’t show is that the hill continues pretty steeply beyond the bottom of the “ramp.” I’m afraid that once they build up some momentum they’ll end up as road pizza.
Lord help the wheel chair bound!

Hola Lori. The ramp in the staircase is common in Asia too, its used for pulling carts up and down the stairs. Most of them are too narrow and steep for a wheelchair person to use solo.
