These doors were installed in a university classroom building, with louvers instead of glass. Interesting idea, except that it took the students no time at all to figure out that they could stick a ruler or piece of wire through the louvers and turn the inside lever. The panels were added to make this a little more challenging. If the lever is bi-directional I’m sure they will figure out Plan B pretty quickly, but the doors look pretty.

I have a few Plans B already. I am not sure any wood door with a latch should be called high security.
