With all of the advancements that have been made in digital media and AI, many of the images we see online and in print are not photos – they were created by an artist.  I analyze each of Allegion’s images to make sure that they are code-compliant, and I have shared examples with the artists to illustrate some common problems.  Someone suggested that I should post them here as a teaching tool and I think it’s a great idea!

In today’s Fixed-it Friday image, the door on the left has a slight problem…the vision light is too high on the door.  The bottom of the light has to be no more than 43 inches above the floor.  If you’re not familiar with the light location requirement found in the accessibility standards, you can read more about it here.
