Wheel handle to low,,,
Does not meet code
Whoever designed it must have worked on a submarine or ship??
Or could also be Safe/Residental Security Container Designer as well
They do this on ships and subs. I’m just a little concerned about the “special knowledge” required to operate it.
Securitech makes professional multi-point deadbolt locks that are very satisfactory, a step up from the ‘crap locksmithing’ jerry-rigged version! https://securitech.com/
but bottom 10″ aren’t ADA-compliant 🙁

Looks like someone borrowed this design from the nuclear blast doors that protected the U.S. Air Force NORAD installation at Colorado Springs, Colorado.
strikes me as a special knowledge issue.. can’t just push a bar – one motion you’re out the door…
What about self-latching?
Hi Benni –
This door probably wouldn’t be required by code to be self-latching, but if it was a fire door assembly we’d have several problems here. 🙂

True, that’s just the first one that came to mind.
I’m always inspired when I see these outrageously creative solutions. I’d like to see what else this person has been able to conjure.
