Two Comments –
1) on the LTR (Less Top Rod) photo I’m not seeing a strike plate in the floor.
2)Blue Doors -Architects should never spec lites that require the exit device to span across the lites. This will prevent the Owner from doing this. But I’m sure that these are the same architects that complain (on a punchlist) that they can see the backside of the device thru the glass – “Can’t you mount it lower??”
They are called panic devices, the real panic begins when the occupants start to exit.
