Am I seeing this wrong or the panic bar is on the pull side of the door?
Am I seeing that correctly that the panic device is on the wrong side of the door?
LOL. this must be his first day at door hardware installation
Because the exit device is on the pull side of the door. Needs to be on the push side & the door must swing out or in the direction of egress.
And the strike he is holding surface mounts onto the door frame stop/soffit.
But I followed the template!!! Actually have done that personally by mistake. Anybody hear of RH vs LHR? Or worked on a steel door with inverted top and bottom caps and got the bottom mixed up with the top? (One MFG very nicely puts the order info on the bottom on from a certain MFG location instead of the top like the rest of their doors.) Fortunately I was usually able to cover it with the trim.
