Here’s another photo from my day at Build Boston. You don’t see this application often – Blumcraft or CR Laurence tubular exit devices on wood doors. I think they look pretty nice. I would have done something different with the closers, and I wouldn’t have specified a key cylinder (the chunky square thing above each pull) for each of the 4 leaves, but hindsight is 20/20.
If you see an interesting door application – good, bad, or ugly, email me a photo and a description and maybe you’ll see it here!

the closers, may I guess, are on the WRONG SIDE of the opening (belong on room side) and these are on the hallway side. least something, they chose LCN 4040…
seems places like this they are picky for decorative reason why they don’t put hardware on the correct side of the door, soo many times I have seen pictures of relative’s weddings and dinners and if they are seated near a door many times in many photos there’s some boxy closer (well we can say one thing, least the closer isn’t naked!)there many times with closer installation, just don’t look right to the theme of whats going on in the room
the doors themselves don’t look all that bad for having tubular panic hardware. I think its creative to use out of the ordinary with hardware, just as long as it’s up to code.
