Rick Jermain of Allegion sent me this Fixed-it Friday photo. Very cute. Nice panic hardware too. 😀

A blatant propping if there ever was one.
That’ll teach ’em to post their silly signs.
At least they were clever about it.
I hope the prop perp is apprehended.
And the lite kit is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high for ADA!
At least that didn’t prop it open in a way that would damage any part of the door or its hardware.
Looks properly propped to me
*groan*
Good place for a door prop alarm like Detex EAX-300. Allows normal exit but alarm sounds if door is not closed within field adjustable time of 1 second to 4 minutes. Might be an electrical option Allegion should consider offering on Von Duprin 98/99 exit devices?
Nothing like propping with a prop, even when the sign says ‘do not prop’, it doesn’t specifically say ‘do not prop with a prop’ and I wonder if the other prop blades are available or are in use as props elsewhere [even if there are signs saying ‘do not prop unless you are using a prop for a prop’…
I just could not help myself, sorry…
