One operation? Rule
Unreal how often I see this or something similar.
Problem is…most do not want to spend the money to correct it.
That’s pretty fancy what finishes does it come in?
US26 only!
Darn I could really see that being used up in the legal department. Let me know when they come out with 612(US10)
Dare I say it… At least its adjustable
Looks to be a tripping hazard.
Chain should be shorter by a dozen links.
Poor application from a security standpoint. Why leave 3 empty links of chain below the staple? This certainly needs to be corrected.
And I bet the screws that hold the staple on the frame are probably something like a #6 x 1/2″ self tapping sheet metal screw that would pull out pretty easily if they didn’t hit the rim reinforcement.
If you’ll notice the strike on the frame and then notice no mounting holes on the door………
Seems to me that the door was replaced, no security hardware install that’s visible in the pictures, other than the chain.
Wonder who thought this was a better bet than a rim device?
