I thought we had child labor laws in place prior to 1948. Why is this “young man” (child) leaving “his work” and why is VD so careful to point out that the photo is “unretouched” (photoshopped?). There may be a conspiracy here…

The first child labor law passed in 1938. I found this ad very strange…let’s blame it on the Marketing Dept. (the 1948 MD, not the current one!). 😀
