I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…the desire for convenience is the greatest threat to security. I need to put that on a t-shirt. Thank you to Deputy Jeff Tock of Allegion for sending today’s Fixed-it Friday photos, taken at a university.

This almost looks like BS!! Not from the persons who sent it to you but at the location. This would be written up by me, all props would be confiscated and whoever was taking me around would be warned to remove the sign and I would give them a sign that would be autographed by me with the code reference to keep the door closed at all times…. Or code language allowing the door to be open. If it same situation would be found on my next inspection there would be a ticket issued immediately!!!
I’m with Kevin, we remove these all the time on actual fire and EMS calls and cite them on inspections. If you have t-shirts made I know I’d buy a few! That phrase seems to encapsulate a lot of things in our world today.
Same here. At one point, someone brought in their own wedge/door stop and wrote on it, this is NOT (insert name of company) property. Please do NOT throw away. I did not follow thier instructions!
