What can I say about today’s Wordless Wednesday photos from Kevin Doerr, other than a) this is Falcon panic hardware, b) the break-in attempt was unsuccessful, and c) the panic still operated correctly for egress.

That’s a good message to people who keeps thinking barricading doors is the solution in schools.
You’re right, Anthony!

It’s a 25 right?
Falcon 25 device – correct!
Takes a lickin’ and keeps on tikin’!
Good thing this wasn’t an inswing door with a lockset. They handed the trim incorrectly and would have found out quickly they wouldn’t be able to open the door.
Wow, they beat that trim (and the HMD) so hard that the lever is turned 180º from its correct “at rest” position.
Good hardware holds up!
Incorrect Trim Handing?
I always enjoy photos of incompetent break in attempts. Some are just too funny . Love how the lever handle is not the srong way . Lol
Folks, it’s not incorrect trim handing. This is the breakaway feature of the device. Someone was probably trying to stand on it or pry the lever to turn.
Note to self: A few “love taps” on the top of a Falcon 510L/511L Exit Trim may re-hand the it..
