Today’s Fixed-it Friday photo was taken in an elementary school, and these doors appear to be fire doors. The “fix” is one way to keep the wedges from disappearing but might be tough to explain when the fire marshal shows up for an inspection.
Thank you to Anthony Gugliotta of Allegion for the photo!

Installer shouldn’t be!
Rod guides at different heights look terrible!
Thats great – what is the Sargent prefix for that option?
I’m sure they’re just decoration…
Due to Covid protocol nobody wants to touch the door,so during the day they prop it open
Well COVID or not; assuming that these are fire doors…Its a matter of non-compliance to prop them open unless a mechanical hold-open device is used and tied into the fire alarm panel for proper release function; whether fire or loss of power.
They can be connected to the fire alarm with magnet holds on them. An easy cheep solution
