This Wordless Wednesday photo kind of ties in with yesterday’s pool gate post. This is NOT the way to provide access control on swimming pools, tennis courts, or any other chain link gate for that matter…
Thank you to Ben Kulp of Lezzer Commercial Door for the photo!

They should have stuck with the knob version on this application.
If it is not accessible to the public and can be locked, you should not have to worry overmuch about handicap access.
If they cannot hold a tennis racquet they will not want to go in here anyway.
Doubt the ADA police would shut the place down for that.
Remember locks just keep the honest people honest.
Might want to rethink just who is the “public”… HOA residents qualify for a HOA Pool or tennis court for that matter. Now if this in on private property, such as one owner.. that’s a different matter
Its a legal issue, not so much a lock issue. No matter how bad the lock is, if you bypass it, a judge would give you a harsher sentence for bypassing a lock you knew you didnt have the authority to do so.
Great point!
