This is becoming a recurring theme. I’ll be in a few airports later this week…maybe I’ll see some more.
A big thank-you to Jim Princehorn of Business Protection Specialists, for risking TSA detainment and sending these photos. 😀

At least they gave a reason for padlocking the door
Be careful while taking pictures inside of airports. Don’t be too obvious about it.
You don’t want to end up on a terrorist watchlist.
Don’t worry – I’m very careful! I almost got my camera confiscated taking a picture of a little girl I met in a port in Morocco…apparently they take their ports seriously!
I have taken many pictures in airports and have been stopped. Once I tell them that there are many visible violations with their doors they always walk away. Stand up for what is right!! Bring attention to items that need to be addressed. If it’s wrong say something.
This could cause someones life to be lost if a tragic event would happen.
My flight to San Diego today stopped in Chicago, and they let us out to grab lunch. I saw a door that instead of an exit sign, had a sign that said “STAIRS” right where the exit sign would usually be. I thought it was weird. No picture – I left my camera on the plane, darn it!
That’s standard in Chicago.
