I guess the resident of this apartment couldn’t find their privacy set release tool…this reminds of the stuff my brothers and I did as kids (yes, we were menaces). The facility manager found the bits and pieces in the dumpster. 😐

Ahh yes…the old 1/8″ plywood with a cardboard honeycomb door.
I just had a row of hooks rip out of a door in my house. I cut the affected strip out of the door and wood-glued in dimensional lumber, sanded, painted, and I now have a solid backing for said hooks.
