Category: Egress,Wordless WednesdayLori @ 12:58 am Comments (5)

I really don’t know what to say about this Wordless Wednesday photo, which was sent to me by Jim Heberlein of Block Iron & Supply Company.  The good news is, the doors and hardware are being replaced!

    In one place

They should replace the door & frame as well. The frame has completely rusted through.

    Just another Bill Elliott spec…….

  4. David Kenyon says:

Release slide bolts on left door (Minimum 2 operations) – battering ram required to bypass keyed exit lock. Sad very sad !

It’s likely that impossibly small lintel over the door will fail first, and the sagging blocks above the opening will come crashing down anyway. At least there’s a fire extinguisher right next to the door. You can put your back to the door that won’t open, and fight for your last breath. Oh wait, the extinguisher looks like it’s been yellow tagged – might not work. Never mind…
