This photo is from one of the fine establishments we visited in NYC.  You can tell it’s *fine* because of the champagne buckets.

    What is the hook thing on the left side of the picture

      I think it was a door pull but it’s hard to tell with everything else that’s going on. This is why egress doors can’t have mirrors or decorations!

    Not sure about the ceiling-mounted ‘Exit’ sign – shouldn’t there be an arrow pointing to the shiny door?
