Take a look at today’s Wordless Wednesday photos from Colin Watson of Allegion, and tell me (in the comments) what’s wrong with this installation. This is an inswinging egress door serving a dentist’s office, and the door is equipped with an electromagnetic lock.
I am reminded of the exit door at the Christchurch Mosque in New Zealand, where a door with a similar application prevented building occupants from exiting during a mass shooting. You can read about that here.

The opening needs a Motion Sensor and a Press to Exit Button.
Installed backwards; restricts egress and completely non code compliant.
It’s missing a motion sensor. Not sure if the door is required to open out or not.
