People often ask me what it’s like to be in a country without life safety codes.  Mexico actually has codes – including a requirement to mark the exit routes.  I saw this one the other night in a restaurant that occupies the first floor of the proprietors’ home.  Most of the confusion I witnessed actually came from people looking for the baño, but this exit signage would never fly in the US.  On the bright side, the arrachera was amazing!  😀
