Looks like Dr. Octopus lost a few tentalcles during the installation
This is the new and improved electricalized version of the Von Duprin 9949 cable device as envisioned by Detex, spec written by Rube Goldberg and installed by Goober. Werks jes good Barney, whuts the problem? I would think that a bit of Wiremold would have improved that a bunch but it would have still been ugly.
This is what occurs when you have multiple companies versus one integrator for the entire facility. There are soooo many mags on that door the building is starting to point north.
Am I looking a surface mount shear magnet with door position sensor and the panic being non-functinonal?
It’s nice that the CMU lintels were ungrouted enough that the after-the-fact conduit could be installed.
If the J-boxes weren’t afterthoughts … they coulda shoulda been able to install conduit concealed. More grumbling by the masons and electricians, but a much cleaner product.
