I’m getting ready to head home from Arc-US in San Diego (which has been a fabulous conference!), and wondering how long it will be before someone tweets a photo of me singing on stage with the Dueling Pianomen. Until then, here’s some signage the likes of which I’ve never seen before. I’m in favor of signage to prevent door abuse. Save the doors!
As I was taking these photos, someone walked up and asked, “Are you Lori?” It also happened in the breakfast buffet line and while I was taking a photo of the door to the ice machine room. During a break today I called home, and while I was talking on the phone, someone asked me if they could join me. I said, “Of course.” My daughter on the other end of the phone, said, “Did someone ask for your autograph?” WTH? 😀

I think the 6 holes were from a surface bolt.

At least it isn’t fire rated! They should also add a protection plate, and possibly swing clear hinges or a continuous hinge to protect the door edge.
