As soon as you think you’ve seen it all……….. Installers are so creative! Nothing surprises me anymore.
It doesn’t extend half the height of the doors, so I say these are not compliant 😉
These appear to be the same devices used for the alarmed exits in Walmarts, made in Arkansas, probably another of the Walton family companies. Creative thinking on the installers part, I just don’t see them passing any sort of code.
