Great video! I like to post these videos on my business’s Facebook page because they’re entertaining and informative, appealing to both the people within the industry, and those that are not.
But, I do take exception to one line from the video. At about 2:24 the video states “It should be noted that welding does not add strength to the edge of the door.” It’s been my experience that welding the pinch seam all the way around the door does add strength to the door in warehouse and industrial applications where there is a lot of large or heavy materials moved through the openings on carts, handtrucks, and especially, electric pallet trucks.
Even new 16 gauge doors with epoxy-bonded seams can get knocked out-of-kilter after a while, and the door will rack and bend.
