See you next week?

In just a few days I’ll be heading to Dallas for CoNEXTions 2014 – the DHI annual conference.  As I mentioned before, I’ll be teaching COR140 – Using Codes and Standards Monday-Wednesday, and in late-breaking news, I’ll be teaching the CE1401 Codes and Standards Update on Friday (6/27) from 1:30-4:00 p.m.  CE1401 is an online code update, but I’m going to talk about some of the recent changes live and in person.  This class is being offered for FREE as part of the conference registration (it is normally $250 for members/$350 for non-members).

I will cover the changes to NFPA 101-2012 and NFPA 80-2013, with some bonus information on the changes to the 2012 IBC.  Consultants (AHC, CDC, EHC, and AOC) earn 50 technical CEP points upon successful completion of this course, which requires additional online study and a passing score of 75% on the course exam.  You must attend my class on Friday to be eligible to complete the class online at no charge.  If you have time between the end of the trade show hours and the closing reception, let’s talk codes!

I will be in the Allegion booth (#404) on Thursday and Friday, and I’d love to see you, or meet me and the rest of the Allegion team at our cocktail reception on Thursday night!  If you’ll be in Dallas, let me know so I can keep an eye out for you!

I’ll see you in CE1401. It will be a pleasure to meet you in person finally!

Too bad that they JUST added in your course on Friday. I am first of all scheduled to be at the luncheon (as an award winner), and then I am driving to Austin to see my niece. Had I known about your class, I probably would have figured out a way to stay for it.

PS…. our employee loved your webinar series that you did on codes. Thank you.

Thanks Rachel…I know you would be there if you could. I’m so glad the online class was helpful!
