Leo Lebovits of M&D Door & Hardware sent me these photos from a recent trip to an amusement park. Are these doors code-compliant for a building of this type? Why, or why not?
WWYD?

Well one
Wondering if those scenes are projected on.
If so hopefully the projectors shut down when the fire alarm goes off.
Plus some of those exits may somewhat be accessible by the people mainly in the bumper cars
I think they are painted.

I’d say NO but dang are those exit signs big!
It would be nice if the doors looked more like doors and not part of the wall. I would say the image is painted as it is not on the exit sign and the exit device. On the other hand, what in that building will burn? I can’t tell from the photos, but bumper cars are usually a steel floor, steel ceiling, electrified cars with no batteries. I don’t see the post on each car so maybe this is a new generation I have not seen. They would still need a way to control the cars and shut them all down to change riders.
found this about how newer bumper cars work w/o the power pole

I wonder if the guy we would see sliding on the greasy floor still does that and occasionally hop on someone’s bumper to help unlock a jam.
Who me, old? yeah.
