As many of you know, I took some time off last week. The plugin I had installed to scroll random posts broke my mobile site so I had to uninstall it. Hopefully you all read that last delayed egress post in depth to keep you occupied. 🙂
I caught up on a lot of stuff while I was “off,” and also found time for some R&R. I saw these doors when I went to dinner with one of my BFFs at the Liberty Hotel in Boston. My first thought was that I needed to add them to my arched door post as another example…to my surprise they are not arched doors – check them out from the exterior!
I will be back to my regular posting schedule now, and I’m working on yet another smoke door post as requested. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Welcome back.
Nice doors. It looks like the door pulls are within 10 inches of the floor. Does this violate accessibility requirements?
Thanks Karl! I didn’t measure the location of the pulls, but the flush surface may be 10″ from the floor to the bottom of the pull – it’s hard to tell. Technically, the Mass Access Board Standards don’t contain the requirement for a 10″ flush area. The doors are also automatic, so I think the chance of someone getting stuck is pretty unlikely.
I like the way you think though. 🙂
