Wanted to follow up on this photo that I had submitted in January of this year. I had a phone call from this customer that had done these modifications to his exit hardware. He stated that he needed to have me come up as soon as possible and look and a bunch of doors that the Fire Marshall had seen and was very upset over. These doors are the ones I declined to get involved with because of liability issues that could arise with life safety. I just quoted to replace these doors and frames with the proper egress needed for this parking garage along with 8 more hallway doors that were totally fatigued from years of hard service. I guess the old saying is true, “You can pay me know. or pay me later” Thought you all might enjoy some follow up on this!
