A Christmas Story

Category: Egress,News,VideosLori @ 8:11 am Comments (0)

I have to admit, I’m having a little trouble with re-entry this morning.  I’m not talking about stairwell re-entry, I’m talking about getting back into the swing of things (who’s with me on this??).  I spent the holidays enjoying the traditions of Mexico with some visiting friends, and now I need a vacation from my vacation.  When I started working on my inbox this morning, there were over 700 emails (not including junk mail) so bear with me if you’re waiting for a reply.  If you need me right away, email me again.

Thank you to the dozens of people who took the Decoded 1 class while I was away.  Once I get through my inbox I’ll be asking you for some feedback so I can make any necessary changes before I email the more than 1,000 people who asked to be notified when the classes are available.  The other 3 Decoded classes are near the top of my list for 2016.  We also have 6 new whiteboard animation videos that I’ll be posting soon!

In case any of you are also struggling today, I’m going to ease into 2016 with a news story about a fabulous Christmas display and a chief operating officer and a fire marshal who were either doing their jobs or being Grinch-ey, depending on who’s commenting (here’s a follow-up story).

Click the graphic to access the news story.

And here’s a holiday story from NFPA president, Jim Pauley…

¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

Thank you to James Caron of Kamco Supply and Rachel Smith of Karpen Steel for sending me these links!
