Time to clean out the inbox!  Here’s the first batch:

A couple people have asked about construction labels lately.  I wrote about construction labels a while ago, but today I received these photos from David Seeley of Clark Security.  Anyone want to guess why these stair doors have a construction label?

Jeff Tock of Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies sent me this group of photos from his recent travels.  I recognized the airport door from one of my trips earlier in the year (that’s pretty bad when you start recognizing doors 3,000 miles away).  The men’s room repair doesn’t look familiar.  🙂

Maybe this emergency exit is no longer required?

These came from Dwayne Robinett of REES Associates.  I can’t say anything about the first one because my mom taught me to keep quiet at times like this.  😀  The second one is a little tough to see but I had to post it anyway.  Exit, but don’t peek!  Yes, that’s the ladies’ room.  I’m guessing the exit sign is missing an arrow.

This historic landmark is visited by 2.5 million people each year.  RB Sontag of Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies noticed a little problem with their emergency exit gate – a padlock!

RB also sent me this lovely door repair photo.  You know what causes this problem, right?

Dave Saltmarsh, from Westfield State University, saw this door from the 1500’s in the Old San Juan Governor’s fortress. I wonder if today’s doors will look this good in 500 years?
